Central 2BR, Hagley Park Views, Free Parking

It is an okay flat, but it needs a bit of attention here and there. Great location though. Positive: Location and aspect were good. The flat was superficially clean. Surfaces were okay and the bathroom was cramped but usuable. Lovely views of the park, and a handy location for the CBD. Negative: Toilet/ bathroom door lock doesn't work. Front door lock is working "just"- handle is loose and it seems on the point of failure. Lock box was very hard to open. To the point where I tried to contact the hosts to double check the code was correct. Contacting the hosts was difficult it was tricky to make sure I had the correct information. The lock box eventually worked. No bed linen for the sofa bed was supplied, or if it was I was unable to find it- quilt, pillows and a towel yes, but clean sheets and pillow case no. There was old, caked on milk in the bottom of the veggie box in the fridge. I have soaked the box, cleaned it and returned it to the fridge. There is a faint, lingering smell of off milk in the flat however. Although that might just be my imagination. The flat is clean and tidy, but could probably do with a deep clean and some maintaince here and there- especially on the door handles.

Excellent location, cosy little apartment, perfect for a short stay in the CBD. Positive: Loved the location and how cosy and clean it was. Water pressure was great! Negative: Ran out of hot water when showering.

Well located apartment with the potential to be a top stay Positive: Good location - close to the city, the shopping and dining precinct, convenient to public transport, direct bus to the airport. The apartment is well- equipped - the kitchen has everything needed to cook proper meals even though we didn't use it, two smart tvs, clean bathroom with nice bath and shower toiletries, balcony to enjoy the afternoon sun. This has the potential to be a top stay if some of the details are sorted Negative: Some annoying little things such as brand new, unlaundered face towels with their plastic ties attached. The linen is not uniformly well laundered. The linen for the sofa bed was not professionally laundered. Some hair and old stains on the mattress protector. The spare throws and blanket for the sofa bed did not smell fresh. The pillows were all super firm. Whilst we didn't use the fridge at all, it looked like it could have done with a good wipe. Ants appeared periodically in the kitchen and around the bin area.

Linen such as towels and facecloths were sparse. There were ants in the bathroom that we could not figure out where they Positive: Central location. Negative: There is no mention about climbing the four flights of outside stairs to get to the property. We don’t mind a climb but with suitcases and bags, it was quite an effort.

Positive: Location is fantastic, nice cute kitchen, facilities are adequate. Good value for money. Awesome view and apartment overlooks Hagley park. Negative: Unfortunately in Winter the apartment struggled to hold warmth and was especially cold at nights. Property advertised as sleeping 6, and while true, not long term option as couches are not adequate or comfortable. Not enough bathroom towels, face cloths. Extreme condensation issues.
